When asked about their most pressing wants, many 3D printing customers typically put stronger materials at the top of their list. That’s why we’re excited to announce the new F190CR and F370CR composite-ready printers, expanding the F123 Series platform. These printers feature a new FDM Nylon-CF10 composite material and our carbon fiber ABS-CF10 material. This powerful combination offers a reliable, simple-to-use, composite 3D printing system with stiff, higher-strength materials for greater application capability.

Strong Composite Materials

It starts with ABS-CF10, a mix of ABS and chopped carbon fiber. The result is a stiffer, more capable ABS thermoplastic. For more demanding applications, there’s FDM Nylon-CF10, our new material combining a nylon blend with 10% carbon fiber. You get a much stronger, stiffer material than the base polymer and a performance increase over ABS-CF10. Both materials are featured on the F190CR and F370CR composite-ready printers.

Simplicity That’s Hard to Beat

These composite-ready printers build on the highly successful F123 Series, noted for its ease of use. Plug-and-play readiness, intuitive software, and easy accessibility to material bays and print heads make these printers operable by virtually anyone. With the F190CR and F370CR printers, you now have these same capabilities in a composite 3D printer.

Reliable Productivity

F123 Series printers have a proven 99% uptime and 99% dimensional repeatability, validated by third-party testing. In fact, 95% of F123 printers installed five years ago are still used today. You can expect the same reliable productivity for composite printing with the new F190CR and F370CR printers.

Composite-Ready Versatility

Composite 3D printing opens up more applications, including high-demand functional prototyping and CNC workholding fixtures. But not every application requires the capabilities of carbon fiber materials. F123 composite-ready printers also use other engineering thermoplastic materials, for broader application versatility.

The new F190CR and F370CR printers and FDM Nylon-CF10 carbon fiber material make composite 3D printing simple, accessible, and dependable. In addition, the F190CR and F370CR are MTConnect-enabled for smart factory floor connectivity.

Learn more about these innovations at the F123 composite-ready printer page and the FDM Nylon-CF10 material page.
