Dr Solomon Dadia, Head of Levin Center of Surgical Innovation and 3D Printing at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Israel. Established the surgical 3D printing service in 2016, while acting as Deputy Director of Orthopedic Oncology of the National Unit at Sourasky. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in introducing 3D planning and printing into major surgical disciplines, and become a leader in defining the future standard of care with Israel’s Ministry of Health. A lead surgeon and unique expert in complex orthopedic oncology surgeries, Dr. Dadia also has experience as a research associate in the MSk Lab at Imperial College London, UK. Between 2014 and 2016, he worked there as a clinical advisor in a multidisciplinary team, researching software development and 3D printing and planning of patient-specific instruments, designed for bone tumor resection surgeries. Today, Dr. Dadia is a sought-after lecturer, pioneering use of 3D printing technology in CMF, head & neck, pediatrics, spine, plastic reconstruction surgeries and more. As well as receiving a medical degree, with honors, from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Dr Dadia holds a post-graduate degree in trauma and orthopedics from the Kaplan Medical Center, Israel, and is a graduate fellow in orthopedic oncology and joint arthroplasty, at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, UK.
